Private sessions an help you to address your unique needs in a one to one environment. One to one sessions can be held at your home in the Meon Valley, or at mine in West Meon, or online over Zoom. Private sessions can be shared with a partner or teenaged child or other family member with prior agreement. In all private sessions, social distancing can be maintained and/or PPE will be worn.
A private session might be beneficial to you if:
- You want to try yoga, but you don’t know where to start.
- You have injuries or health conditions that make a group class unsuitable.
- You prefer the privacy of your home and the possibility of working with a teacher’s full attention.
- You have specific goals in your practice that you want to address.
- You would prefer not to do a group exercise class while Covid is a problem.
Private sessions involve teaching of anatomy and embodiment, to help you understand how to approach yoga, and daily movement challenges. Techniques taught in private sessions centre around yoga, but incorporate other movement disciplines, including different conditioning and strength building techniques where appropriate. One to one students are encouraged to create a daily practice of some kind (could be 5 minutes of breathing, or more) to maintain progress in between sessions.
