Welcome to Meon Yoga

Yoga is an incredible movement practice that can be used all thoughout our lives. Yoga helps cultivate and maintain breathing capacity and mobility, strength and flexibility of the muscles and joints, and presence and concentration in the mind.

Join a class to find out how yoga can improve how you feel in your body and your life.

Yoga Classes

Yoga is an incredible movement system that helps us retain and build flexibility, ease of movement and strength in the body. My classes centre the physical aspects of yoga, and incorporate strength building techniques, targeted exercises, flowing movement and yoga poses.

Yoga facilitates healing for daily aches and pains, and longer term injuries. We work with breathing to expand our capacities. This has a huge effect on health, longevity and cardiovascular fitness, as well as concentration and focus.

My classes help you to understand and feel your body better, so you get better movement.

What to expect?

We start with warms ups like tapping, and moving the body in simple ways to create more awareness. We progress to poses and exercises that build strength and flexibility, as well as exploring our own movement goals. Many of our exercises can be incorporated into our daily routines to help keep us moving and feeling good.

Live classes run termly, starting on 13 Sept. You can book for an entire term, or drop in for a class.

About

Mollie McClelland Morris is life-long mover and creative being. Her yoga teaching is guided by the words Grace and Presence. She guides people into greater capacity to feel and connect to themselves through yoga posture practice that is healing, nourishing and life-affirming. Her journey with yoga has been through Ashtanga and Forrest yoga, integrating her dance and somatic training, with the embodiment practices of Franklin Method.

Mollie’s methods weave together unique choreography, detailed biomechanical concepts and yogic wisdom to encourage embodied self-reflection, balanced strength and mobility and a sense of freedom and pleasure in the body moving.

Mollie’s work is not just an exploration of movement, but of how we listen to our bodies and how we decode what we feel.
